About Sam

Born and raised in Barrington, Rhode Island, Sam Valk has emerged as a dynamic force in the vibrant world of musical theatre. A graduate of Molloy University's musical theater program, CAP21, Sam holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre, a testament to his dedication and passion for the performing arts.

​Sam is not only a captivating performer but also a gifted musical theater composer and lyricist. His original compositions breathe life into stories, weaving charming and catchy melodies and quick, witty lyrics that resonate with audiences on a profound level.

In August of 2023, Sam made his off-Broadway debut at the iconic Feinstein's 54 Below. The one-man extravaganza, Sam Valk: A Valk In The Park, showcased his multifaceted talent, featuring a selection of original compositions that left the audience wanting more. This debut marked the beginning of what promises to be a stellar career in show business.

Come December 2024, Sam’s musical comedy, Give ‘Em What They Want will have its staged debut at The New York Winter Theater Festival.

Sam is also a regular jazz entertainer at multiple senior living communities and hosts Jazz Hour with Sam Valk at Inspir Carnegie Hill, The 80th Street Residence, Atria, and Sunrise at E 56th.

Sam Valk is more than just a performer; he is a storyteller, a composer and lyricist for the off-Broadway stage, and a rising star with a passion for creating unforgettable moments for audiences.
